Experience
MITRE has been involved with PPPs for over 40 years. During this time, MITRE’s expertise has led to numerous benefits for PPP stakeholders including:
- An 80 percent reduction in accidents for partners involved in the Aviation Safety Information Analysis and Sharing (ASIAS) PPP.
- Savings of over $300 million for partners involved in the Healthcare Fraud Prevention Partnership (HFPP).
- Providing over 265 fraud alerts during 2020 for near immediate action by partners involved with the Identity Theft Tax Refund Fraud Information and Sharing and Analysis Center.
While every PPP is unique to the partners involved and their mission, examples such as these can be illustrative of what is possible through collaboration and serve as points of departure for discussions.
