Value Proposition
Audience: General | Level: Foundational
Summary
This tool is meant to support early conversations and decision-making around what a PPP is trying to accomplish, what that will mean for PPP participants, and why that matters at both the individual partner and collective partnership levels.
This tool will help you
- articulate a common understanding of the group’s purpose, mission, and/or North Star
- aid in recognizing both similar and differentiated benefits of participation
- facilitate the buy-in of key decision-makers who will need to help birth and develop the partnership
- enable the group to share relatable messaging about the partnership’s work when ready to recruit new members
Early conversations among participants will include many thoughts about what the group can accomplish together and what accomplishing those things will mean for them, the entities they represent, and the overall system of which they are a part. These early thoughts will be tested throughout the PPP Proof of Concept; only some of these thoughts will last through the Proof of Concept and emerge as the proven value proposition(s) of the PPP.
Use this tool (see download) as a frame of reference when navigating these conversations to help your group make forward progress.
